STUDY PROGRAMME

The college offers a one-year preaching course toward a certificate.  The current courses are as follows:

  • Basic Christian Doctrine​
  • Christian Ministry
  • The Church and Its Mission
  • African Church History
  • Engaging with the World
  • Practical Expository Ministry
  • Bible Handling​

​Bible Overview
As the name implies, this course is designed to familiarise the student with the content and the broad sweep of the Scriptures. 

Basic Christian Doctrine
This course takes students through a simple systematic theology.


Christian Ministry
Christian Ministry deals with what the Bible says about serving the Lord and His people in the proclamation of the gospel.


The Church and Its Mission
This course covers the nature of the church and the work of the church until Christ returns.

African Church History
An understanding of history is important. This course is designed to help the student understand the history of Christianity in Africa from its earliest beginnings to its more recent growth.

Engaging with the World
This course looks at the national and global issues and how the gospel connects with, challenges and speaks into those situations.

Practical Expository Ministry
In this course, students spend a term considering the theory of expository ministry. There is a significant amount of time given to preaching and gaining feedback from peers. 

Bible Handling
This course is central to the teaching at the college. It includes the in-depth study of individual books and it covers every major Bible genre.
