Proclamation Institute Zambia is located to the north of Kitwe on a spacious property comprising 20 hectares.
Development of site and progression towards self-sustenance
Since 2013, significant investment of over £1m has been put into the college, mainly from Trusts and Grants. The current infrastructure include an academic block (lecture room, library & computer suite), a hostel for students, lecturers’ houses, a medical clinic and an ablution block. As the college moves towards its aim of generating it’s own income, the 20 hectare land is being developed. New agricultural buildings and houses are being built. A poultry and horticultural farm is also underway for long term sustainability of the college. Profit from the farm will be used for college operations progressively.
