Henry Zimba
“My family and I live in Mansa district, Luapula Province, Zambia.
First and foremost, I would like to thank the staff of PIZ college for their excellent work in teaching us expository preaching and all the general workers for their part in ensuring students were well looked after. We appreciate this very much. In addition I would like to say that sharing the Word of God in the style of expository preaching has been very helpful to me. It indeed has been very helpful to the body of Christ at large as we take the gospel out.
I am happy to report that a church has been born and currently meets in our home. God has been faithful as always. We have seen conversions by His grace.
Recently we were offered a plot to put up a church building. Plans are underway to start clearing the area. Initially we will put up a temporary structure for our meetings before the permanent one is built.
We are in a village setting where most people do not have any formal employment so funds are little. Please pray for a financial breakthrough.
My vision is to open a mission school helping the vulnerable and also plant churches here in Luapula and the neighbouring Northern Province.
Thank you for remembering us in Mansa Church, Luapula”.
Yours in His service

Henry has been cycling to another village to do mission work, approx. 45km. He asks for pray for this ministry and other projects.
Henry, his wife and others are standing on the plot where the church will be built.
Claire Walubita
"I live in Namwala, a town situated on the south bank of the Kafue River in the Southern province of Zambia. I have been involved in child and youth evangelism in our community.
From time to time I also get invited to a women’s organization where I assist them with marital counseling. I have been doing a lot of personal bible study in order to understand what the bible teaches and also for my own spiritual growth. My father died in February 2020. This caused a challenge in my life that although I have a desire to further my education, I have no money or sponsorship to do so. In the meantime, apart from the bible, I have also been doing a lot of reading of other circular books with a view to improving my English. Please continue praying for me that I may remain strong in the faith as I minister to the children, the youth, and the women. And as I work to improve my language skills. Also, pray that I may find sponsorship to further my education." |
Maleleli Sintolongo"First of all I want to say thank you once again for all the support I got while I was at PIZ. Indeed we students received an abundance of grace through the Word of God taught to us and the financial support from our sponsors.
Shortly after my return from PIZ, I was asked to be an assistant leader in the Bible Sunday School for Youths. This was at my church; the Brethren in Christ Church. About two months later, I was invited to preach at the Revival Grace Ministry Church. While there the elder of the church asked if I could partner with them on local evangelistic missions. We committed to praying for the church and for doors to be opened for this sort of work. |
On my second visit to this church, two people gave their lives to Christ. In God’s providence, the evangelistic crusade we prayed and planned for never happened because of the coronavirus pandemic which overtook everything.
My family and I held services in the home on Wednesdays (cell group) and Sundays, during the lockdown. Now churches are allowed to meet with guidelines to follow. Before the pandemic, I used to preach often.
We do not have much information about when we can hold the crusade. The elder said we will wait but we have continued praying for the world and churches across the world concerning the current situation.
I am happy to say the cell group has continued and plans are underway to find a bigger venue as the group is growing.
In the June 2020 fellowship week, my mum gave her life to Christ. God has really been answering your prayers for the effectiveness of our ministry.
Please continue praying for us and may the Lord bless you. Thank you. I am hoping to share a video of our ministry as soon as we are able to organize one.
May the love of God continue to abide with us all. And may God continue to lead us as we preach the gospel for the salvation of men and women, by His grace through faith in Jesus Christ.
My prayer too is for the LORD to continue to bless and support PIZ. My love to all of you in Christ Jesus."

Peter Banda KalumbaSince finishing my course at PIZ, I have been involved with various aspects of church life, with God’s help. I am thankful to God for how He has led me this far. My life has changed in so many ways.
The summary of what I have been doing is as follows:- I have been working with the youth (preaching at their meetings), teaching the children in the Sunday School and preaching in the church. However, the situation is no longer the same anymore because of the coronavirus pandemic. The Sunday School is on hold. I now occasionally preach for the youth. The preaching rota is directed by the elders of my church and so I preach as and when I have been allocated to do so. We have elders and deacons only. We meet as a church for ministry on Sundays, Mondays, and Wednesdays. I am at the Christian Brethren Church, C.M.M.L, in Kitwe. March 2021: Thanks be to God that there has been an increase in children attending the Sunday School since COVID-19. |
|
March 2021: The children are singing about the best or good book, and that book is the bible. And the good friend is Jesus Christ, he can help you on your way and teach you.

Prince Matthews Banda
|
Prince Matthews Banda is at Cornhill Scotland and is serving as a ministry apprentice at The Tron Church in Glasgow. Prince will finish his course and ministry apprentice role in 2022.
Prince writes on his prayer letter in 2020:
"I am very grateful to the Lord and enormously humbled by how He has worked through his people in making it possible for me to be here.
My week is divided into two parts. On Mondays and Tuesdays, I have the privilege of sitting under Edward Lobb and Andy Gemmill, our Cornhill teachers. It has been highly stimulating to learn from them, alongside my classmates. All different people from different walks of life but posses and share a burning passion to teach and serve God through faithfully Biblical teaching. Every lecture has been an amazing exposition of who God is, what God says in his Word and, ultimately, how we can teach it faithfully. One think that I believe has stood more out to us all this term is how when we have been exposed to God’s Word, the more the Word has exposed our sin and caused us to draw even closer to our Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ.
I have really enjoyed my first term on the Course and am grateful to the Lord for the friendships that have emerged in this time space. I am looking forward to the rest of my time here even as I trust that the Lord will equip me for ministry in Zambia."
Prince is involved in 3 ministries at The Tron. He enjoys sharing the gospel with others, studying God's word in the @release the Word' group and he is involved with the Youth and Activ8. Of the youth group he says:
"Friday nights are the climax of my week. The last ministry I am involved in is Tron Youth & Activ8. We spend an evening with kids and teens who are part of the church family and, occasionally, we encourage the kids to invite their friends to come along to our Friday nights. The nights consist of games and Bible teaching prepared by one of the leaders. Spending time with the kids and youth has been a great encouragement. Seeing them grow in the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour and share that truth with their friends at school as they fly the flag for Jesus."
