Cecilia Mumbi“My name is Cecilia Mumbi and I completed my studies and graduated from Proclamation Institute Zambia in 2016 (the only lady in the class of 11 students).
After my studies, I served with PIZ for a year as a publicity and fundraising officer in Kitwe. On the other hand I was still volunteering for Scripture Union Zambia (as I've been a volunteer there since 2012). |
Give thanks that the Lord gave me strength to persevere faithfully through to the end of my studies and that I may stay devoted to God and the faithful teaching of the Scriptures to His people.
Give thanks to the Lord for His sustaining grace through my time at college and especially through this Covid-19 season.
Give thanks to the Lord for my ever-supportive church family where God placed me from the start of my studies at GWC. The college community has been equally amazing.
I am planning to engage in student ministry after graduation. I am not so sure how that will unfold but please pray that God's will may prevail over mine.”

Clemore Hanjalika“For two years after PIZ I studied plumbing in Kasama, in the Northern province of Zambia. While there I helped a Baptist pastor to plant a church, which is progressing well. I also served as Chairperson for Zambia Fellowship of Evangelical Students (ZAFES). Being involved with this work gave me opportunities to advertise PIZ in colleges around Kasama.
In 2019 I came to George Whitfield College (GWC) in Cape Town, South Africa, to do a higher certificate in Theology course. I am now on a 3 year Bachelor’s degree program, scheduled to finish, God willing, in December of 2022. Due to Covid-19 lockdown in South Africa, I was unable to travel home to Zambia where I was supposed to wed in June 2020, but in December 2020 we were married. Betty is in Zambia, studying nursing. |
After my studies I will be looking for opportunities to serve at PIZ as a lecturer and also as an advertiser for the college. My other option is church planting work.
Pray for me and Betty, so that the Lord will grow us in wisdom and knowledge of His Son Jesus Christ.
Pray that Betty completes her studies well. And pray for me too in my studies."
